Norma McCorvey Passes
February 18, 2017
The woman known as “Jane Roe” in the landmark 1973 abortion case Roe vs. Wade has passed. Norma McCormey, who later became a staunch pro-life advocate, was 69.
Although she ended up not having the abortion she won the right to in the case, McCorvey later worked for several years in the abortion industry. However, she became a Christian in 1995 and called her role in Roe vs. Wade “the biggest mistake of my life.”
